Virtual try-on is an innovative technology that empowers users to digitally envision the appearance of clothing on themselves, eliminating the necessity for physical try-ons. By utilizing a 3D representation of the user's body and photorealistic garment renders, it provides a visual depiction of how the garment will appear when worn by the user in real life.

Virtual try-on uses the camera of a smartphone to create a hyper-realistic 3D avatar. The technology then places a 3D digital representation of the selected garments onto the user’s avatar. A cloth simulator calculates the realistic stretch and drape of the garment over your avatar, creating an accurate representation of how the garment will look.

Our 3D avatars capture the user’s body shape more accurately than a tailor, and our digital garments are created by virtually sewing the production patterns from the original design. The combination of full body avatars and accurate 3D garments ensures that the digital fit of the garment will accurately match the physical fit. We also use an advanced size recommendation algorithm that matches the individual garment measurements with the size of the user’s body, which will ensure that the user is selecting a size that will fit them perfectly in real life.

We have created a mobile application that allows for a very easy digital scan, using just a smartphone.

Safeguarding consumer data is our utmost priority. We never share or sell data to third-party vendors. Scan data is solely utilized for avatar generation, undergoing anonymization to remove personal identifiers. Furthermore, access to this data is restricted to essential teams within The Fitting Room.

We do not share any user videos after the avatar creation process.
